1. Overview
These terms of service ("terms") govern your use of the Prevo desktop application and the website at tryprevo.com. By purchasing, downloading, or using Prevo, you agree to these terms. Prevo is operated under the jurisdiction of the United Arab Emirates.
2. Description of service
Prevo is a desktop application for macOS that turns raw iPhone, iPad and Mac screenshots into App Store marketing screens. It applies layouts and styling, drafts captions, localizes a set into other languages, exports every required size, and can upload finished sets to App Store Connect.
Layout, styling, rendering and export run locally on your Mac. Some features send data off your machine, each one started by you: the features that use AI, which today are writing captions and localizing a set, and uploading to App Store Connect. Prevo also needs an internet connection to validate your license, check your AI Credit balance, install updates, and send usage analytics. See our privacy policy for what is sent and to whom.
3. License
3.1 License grant
Prevo is available on a Free plan and on paid Pro plans. Upon purchase of a Pro plan, you receive a non-transferable license key that grants you the right to use Prevo on one (1) Mac at a time.
Pro Yearly covers twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Pro Lifetime has no end date.
3.2 Updates
Prevo updates itself automatically. A Pro Yearly license includes all updates released during its twelve month term. A Pro Lifetime license includes all future updates for as long as we publish them, at no further cost.
3.3 Device binding
Each license key activates one Mac at a time. To move your license to another Mac, deactivate it in Settings on your current Mac, then activate it on your new Mac. You may do this as often as you like. To use Prevo on multiple Macs simultaneously, you will need to purchase additional licenses.
3.4 Restrictions
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application. You may not use the application for any unlawful purpose. You may not use Prevo to upload screenshots to an App Store Connect account you are not authorized to act for.
4. Pricing and payment
Prevo Pro is sold as a yearly plan or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are listed on tryprevo.com and may change at any time. Price changes do not affect existing license holders, and never affect a Pro Lifetime license already purchased. All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy.
5. Refund policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with Prevo, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing hello@tryprevo.com with your order details. You do not need to justify the request.
We may decline a refund where a license appears to have been purchased for a single job and returned once that job was done. For example, where a full set has been exported or uploaded to App Store Connect and the request follows shortly after. We may also decline repeated purchase-and-refund cycles on the same account, email address, or payment method.
The Free plan exists so you can try Prevo on a real project before paying. We recommend using it first. If you believe a decision of ours is wrong, reply and tell us why, and a person will read it.
6. AI Credits
Some features in Prevo use AI and are paid for with AI Credits. Today those are writing captions and localizing a set, and we may add other AI features as the app develops. The Free plan includes a starter pack of credits. Pro plans include a monthly allowance that refills each month, and unused credits do not carry over to the following month.
The size of the allowance, and how many credits a feature costs, are shown in the app and on tryprevo.com. Both may change as the product develops.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between licenses, and are not separately refundable. Every other feature in Prevo works without them.
AI output is generated, so it can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Captions and translations are drafts. Read them before you publish them. What you ship is your responsibility.
7. Your content
Everything you import into Prevo, and everything Prevo produces from it, belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your screenshots, your captions, or your exported sets.
You are responsible for holding the rights to what you import, including any fonts, logos, photographs, or third-party material visible in your screenshots.
8. Privacy and data
Layout, rendering and export are performed on your Mac. Screenshots are sent off your machine only when you use a feature that needs them sent, such as writing captions, localizing a set, or uploading to App Store Connect. For full details, see our privacy policy.
9. App Store Connect compliance
Prevo exports screenshots that match Apple's App Store screenshot specifications for the sizes it supports, and names and folders them the way App Store Connect expects. App Store Connect will accept the file format.
However, Apple may still reject your screenshots for content reasons under their App Review Guidelines. We are not responsible for content-based rejections. We are not affiliated with Apple, and your use of App Store Connect remains governed by your agreement with Apple.
Check what you are uploading before you press Upload. We cannot withdraw an upload on your behalf once Apple has received it.
10. Availability and platforms
Prevo is currently available for macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. We do not guarantee compatibility with all hardware configurations. We aim to keep our licensing and AI services running, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime.
11. Limitation of liability
Prevo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to lost work, missed deadlines, lost downloads or revenue, or App Store submission rejections.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
